Batman vs King kong.

I was thinking about +BATMAN  (while procrastinating) and how he doesn't have any super-powers but he still beats the crap out of everyone, even super-strong villains with electrical powers who can fly and look like giant bugs. I was reading this comic where he beat the crap out of Superman, which is impressive even though he wore a suit of armor and had help from Green Arrow and a big chunk of kryptonite.
Batman knows so much stuff that if he ever went on KBC, he would just never lose. It would just go on forever and ever, and even +amitab bachan  would get bored. I wonder if they would let him on the show with his mask and everything? It would be interesting, especially on the part of the show where BigB had to schmooze the contestants.
Big B : "So, Batman, do you ever take that mask off?"
Batman : "Only when I have to."
Big B : "Oh? Ha-ha! And when would that be?"
Batman : "I need sleep. But justice never sleeps. I am the night, I am the fear of dead things,of damnthings, crushing the bones of injustice as it..."
Big B : okay! Yeh raha aapka agla sawaal *yawns*
And then I was thinking about King Kong , that +King Kong  could probably beat Batman. And wouldn't it be awesome if Batman had to fight King Kong on the planet of apes
I wonder what the talking apes or the working apes would think about Kong? One one hand, to them, a wild ape would seem like a retarded second grader to them; on the other hand, it seems like Kong is big enough to eat the talking apes by the handful.
So I don't think the apes would be on Kong's side, but obviously they wouldn't be on Batman's side, either. Maybe they would throw Kong and Batman into a death-match cage. Or maybe it would wind up a three-way death-match between Batman, Kong, and an army of talking gorillas with rifles. That would be awesome.
And now that I'm thinking about, I bet Batman would still win.

Life of a pi...err! Life of a fly.

A fly larvae born today at 6am, graduates high school at 9pm tonight, gets married at midnight, fathers his first thousand larvae by 3am tomorrow, at 6pm on Tuesday he gets all emotional watching those thousand larvae graduate high school and get their wings, goes through a mid-life crisis by midnight Tuesday when he becomes a grand-fly for the first time and tries to pick up young female flies in a bar by telling them he only has 6 hours to live, by Wednesday at 3am he's in the fly hospital telling the doctors how much simpler things were on Monday morning at 11 o'clock, and all the friends he lost to bug spray and swatters, and then he passes away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday morning at 6am. It's the life of a fly, ladies and gentlemen.

God is angry!

A lot of religious people think, and are quick to tell you, that God is angry. And not just angry, but super-pissed all the time for all the stupid crap we do every day. Worse, He's pissed at us for all the crap that other people do, and we blame these things on "society". People think that other people are guilty of crap that they're not even guilty of, and then they say it's "society".

Historically, every religion  wants to convert everyone, and failing that, shun or kill them. They talk about the end of the world, judgement and wrath, fire and brimstone. But I don't think that God is pissed. I don't think He's sitting up there waiting to fling lightning and drop rocks on us.

It's easy to imagine someone doing the same thing over and over, saying "sorry" all the time, and then finally reaching the point where you just say "Get lost. You're beyond forgiveness." That's how we are with one another, and it's hard to imagine it being any other way..

But if I forgive someone a wrong that they've done to me, I don't do it because of who they are or what they've done; I do it because of who I choose to be. It hurts me to hold onto anger.

It's in God's nature to forgive, and I think the idea that Hell is a place where people languish in eternal misery, begging for a forgiveness that God withholds, is wrong. I think if Hell is real, then it's full of people who blame everyone else for their situation. I don't think judgement is something that's imposed on us: It's just refusing to recognize anything else.
